INFORMATION ON THE MANAGING DIRECTOR:

Joseph Little is founder and Managing Director of Kitty Hawk Consulting (since 1991).

In Agile, he is a Certified Scrum Trainer. (He is also a CSM and a CSP.) He has trained and coached clients in Agile.  He has been a master coach, acting as a mentor to team ScrumMasters.

In Agile, he has worked with many different types of organizations, from start-ups to some of the largest firms in the world, to governmental and military organizations.

Earlier in his career, he consulted to the securities industry, to the banking industry, to the consumer real estate finance industry, and to the credit card industry.  Many of his projects have involved international and domestic securities trading and process processing.  He has consulted from business, operations, and technology viewpoints. He has consulted to major financial institutions in New York, London and Charlotte. He has 20+ years of experience in banking and finance.

He worked with: Bank of America, Barclays Bank, Capital One, Citibank, Deutsche Bank (and Bankers Trust), Fiduciary Trust Company International, First Interstate (now Wells Fargo), Irving Trust (now Bank of New York), JPMorganChase (Chase, Chemical and Manufacturers Hanover), BNP Paribas, State Street, Wachovia and others.  Most clients called him back for additional work.

His projects then typically involved the intersection between business needs and technology solutions. Often this involved identifying business goals and developing business requirements, or assisting with system implementations. Other projects sought business or operations solutions, such as starting a new product or service, or determining how best to deploy operations resources to meet a set of service requirements. In any case, most projects are either bottom-line oriented (increasing revenues or reducing costs), or risk-reduction oriented.

Previously Mr. Little worked for Manufacturers Hanover, BIS Banking Systems (a systems vendor), Ernst & Young, and Bankers Trust. He has 20+ years of senior-level consulting experience in New York, Charlotte and London. Mr. Little has an MBA in Finance & International Business from New York University and a BA from Yale University.
